Two Cents Insights is a boutique research and advisory firm helping Fortune 500s, global media companies, and high-growth startups see around corners. We design and deliver research that directly influences business decisions, combining sharp data with editorial storytelling. Our work spans custom studies, advisory, and thought leadership programs, and we move fast in high-stakes environments.

We’re small by design. That means every role is critical. This Assistant role will be the underpinning across our business: keeping us organized, proactive, and one step ahead. You’ll work closely with our Founder and Chief of Staff, and you’ll coordinate with our research staff to make sure calendars, communication, and operations run seamlessly so the rest of the team can focus on delivering world-class insights to clients.

  • Can juggle frequently-moving calendars across multiple time zones and still make it look easy.

  • Don’t just stay organized, you drive organization — spotting what’s missing, tightening the system, and making things run smoother before we even ask.
  • Are comfortable handling both business and personal admin with discretion.
  • You thrive on clarity, direct communication, and keeping things moving; you don’t need hand-holding.

What you'll do

This is a role for someone who takes ownership, anticipates needs, and tells us what’s missing before we see it ourselves. The daily responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Own and manage the founder’s calendar with precision: scheduling across multiple time zones, protecting focus time, and confirming meetings in advance.
  • Support the Chief of Staff by coordinating follow-ups, keeping systems updated, and more.
  • Act as the connective thread with our research staff making sure project deadlines, meetings, and deliverables stay on track.
  • Monitor team task lists and workflows, proactively identifying opportunities to streamline, automate, or close out items to keep things moving forward.
  • Handle inbox triage, draft correspondence, and keep communication clear and timely.
  • Manage and maintain contact lists, keeping track of introductions, follow-ups, and relevant notes for future engagement.
  • Conduct research on individuals, companies, or organizations ahead of key meetings, pitches, or outreach efforts and log key details in our CRM to maintain clean, actionable records
  • Manage contacts and networking opportunities, aligning them with business priorities.
  • Support planning for client workshops and internal sessions, ensuring logistics are seamless.
  • Provide light tech support - troubleshooting meeting access, document permissions, or tech issues to keep things running smoothly
  • Occasionally handle personal admin to keep the whole picture running smoothly.

What you’ll need

  • 3+ years of recent experience supporting executives in corporate, consulting, or professional services environments.
  • Tech-savvy and digital-first: fluent in Google Workspace, Slack, and scheduling tools, quick to learn new systems.
  • Skilled at managing calendars and projects across 3+ time zones.
  • A natural organizer who anticipates needs, spots gaps, and solves them before they turn into problems.
  • Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Discreet, reliable, and professional — someone we can trust with the details that matter.
